MOSA Engineering Services works hard to ensure our employees adopt the highest standards of practice and ethical conduct. This is achieved by:
- Monitoring of statutory reserved areas of practice
- Discipline in respect of Standards
- Ethics
Monitoring of statutory areas of practice
In every country the requirement to monitor certain types of work is imposed by statute. MOSA Group activities are conducted in such a manner as to meet each country's statutory regulation.
Discipline in respect of Standards
MOSA Engineering Services has adopted the latest industrial Standards developed by South African Bureau of Standards (SABS)
- SANS (South African National Standards) - a set of standards unambiguous acceptable to employer, engineering and contractor bodies.
- Healthy, Safety and Environmental standards.
MOSA Engineering Services ensures that all engineering activities are compliant to the above standards.
Ethics
Ethics is about the principles we use to judge the right and wrong of our actions. For MOSA workers it is the fundamental principles that members review and agree to each year. Most of them have been created using toolkits from (Ethics resource centre) and (Institute of Business Ethics)
