The new business unit (MOSA net solutions) will provide reliable satellite communication solutions to individuals, businesses and organisations throughout Africa.

VSAT is a way of providing better connectivity to the internet or for private satellite communications networks in areas where there are unreliable communication networks. Depending on bandwidth requirement (data speed and/or communications channels) VSAT systems can be relatively small (1 to 2.4 meter antenna) and easily installed. By linking VSAT terminals to larger hub stations (or land earth stations) a wireless network can be established relatively low cost.

A Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT), is a two-way satellite solution most commonly used to transmit narrowband data (point of sale transactions such as credit card or broadband data (Satellite Internet access or VOIP) to remote locations. VSATs terminals can be installed permanently, mobile unit or temporary at any remote site on short notice.
